The Khajuraho Group of Monuments, built by the Chandela dynasty between 950 and 1050 CE, are famous for their stunning Nagara-style architecture and exceptionally intricate erotic sculptures. The Kandariya Mahadeva temple is a masterpiece of Indian art, designed to resemble a mountain peak.
