Safety should be your top priority. Never attempt to swim at the base of a large waterfall unless it is a designated safe zone; undercurrents and slippery rocks are deceptive and dangerous. Always wear sturdy, non-slip footwear as the paths are often wet and muddy. Respect all warning signs and barricades, and never venture off the marked trails.
